This drawing of a tiger was created with charcoal on Yupo paper. It is framed to 24.5" x36." The frame will come complimentary and to help protect the work.
This process of drawing with charcoal on Yupo paper can be incredibly tricky and unpredictable. Since Yupo is a synthetic paper is doesn't absorb materials the way traditional paper does. This means that I can get the most interesting marks, but attempting to draw on top of those marks can either enhance it or completely wipe it away. Since I have very little control, the drawing guides me and it becomes exactly what it needs to become.
